During the month of November, the public celebrates the achievements of medical professionals and researchers who are involved in transplant research. During this time, people who donate their stem cells and bone marrow to help give others a second chance at life are also honored. This month is used as a time to generate awareness of the network of donor centers around the the nation, and encourage more people to donate.
