Lewis & Clark Expedition Sets Out: Anniversary, 1804

May 14th, 2025 Charged by President Thomas Jefferson with finding a route to the Pacific, Captain Meriwether Lewis and Lieutenant William Clark left St. Louis, MO, with a 33-member group skilled in botany, zoology, outdoor survival and other scientific skills.
