Anniversary: Voyager 2

The unmanned spacecraft Voyager 2 journeyed past Jupiter in 1979, Saturn in 1981, Uranus in 1986 and Neptune in 1989, sending photographs and data back to scientists on Earth. Voyager 2 is the only spacecraft to study all four of the solar system's giant planets at close range.
