The Motorcycle Hall of Fame Museum and Nationwide Insurance are working together to mark July as Women's Motorcycle Month. According to the Motorcycle Industry Council, women riders continue to increase. The Motorcycle Safety Foundation says women make up nearly 30 percent of students in its Basic RiderCourses program.
Motorcycle manufacturers, road trip tours and other businesses have recognized the ever-growing market in female riders. This is a time to celebrate the diversity of the hobby and take to the roads to explore the scenery along the way.
According to J.D. Powers and Associates, 12 out of every 100 motorcycles are sold to women, and the numbers are increasing each year. Use images from the MCC Creative Library to create a business card-style directory of motorcycle shops that cater to women's riding needs.
