Fruitcake is either loved or reviled, but that doesn't stop well-meaning individuals for gifting it during the holiday season. Too often fruitcake, which is essentially a bundt or pound cake dotted with dried fruit, never gets eaten. That's where National Fruitcake Toss Day comes into play.
