Tradesmen build homes, roads, businesses and schools. They keep cars running, lights on, water flowing and so much more. They are the backbone of a functioning nation, and on National Tradesmen Day, they are honored. National Tradesman Day is also a fine time to discuss with children the alternative education routes that can lead to a career in trades. National Tradesmen Day recognizes these hardworking men and women on the third Friday of September.
Help area advertisers give back to community tradesmen (and women). Take the opportunity to spotlight area workers and entrepreneurs. Trade schools in the area also can advertise their course offerings.
