National Chocolate Milk calls all chocolate lovers to enjoy this frothy beverage. In 1828 the Van Houten company in Amsterdam invented the cocoa pressing method. This produced a light, fluffy chocolate powder that could be easily dissolved in water or milk. Up until this invention, rarely did anyone drink chocolate because they could not get a smooth consistency. Now chocolate milk is enjoyed by adults and children alike. It's a popular choice paired with school lunch, and can be a sweet treat anytime a little chocolate indulgence is desired.
