It's difficult to beat the refreshing, delicious nature of ice cream. About 10.3 percent of all the milk produced by U.S. dairy farmers is used to produce ice cream, contributing significantly to the economic well-being of the nation's dairy industry. The entire month of July is National Ice Cream Month, and annually the third Sunday in July is dubbed "National Ice Cream Day." To appeal to ice cream lovers, there's never a better time to promote this favorite dessert.
