With millions of people dining out in any given year, the waitstaff — those servers, bussers, maitre d's and many others — play an invaluable role in keeping diners happy and well-serviced. On National Waitstaff Day, the public gives back to those people who are so often doing whatever they can to make every restaurant experience as pleasant as possible. Individuals can leave a bigger tip, or thank their servers for a job well done.
