First Newspaper Comic Strip: 125th Anniversary, 1896

October 18th, 2022 Today in 1896 was the debut of the comic strip in the New York Journal. One image cartoons has been printed before this day that Richard Fenton Outcault decided to show his narrative in several panels side by side— the first comic strip.
