March 15th, 2022
In the ancient Roman calendar the days of the month were not numbered sequentially, but each month was divided into three division days: kalenda, nones and ides. The ides occurred on the 15th of the month or on the 13th for months that had fewer than 31 days. Julius Caesar was assassinated on this day in 44 BC, and "Beware the Ides of March" became a known line after Shakespeare used it in his play Julius Caesar.
