National Farm Workers Day recognizes that farming and agriculture have been a huge part of keeping humanity thriving since people were intelligent enough to cultivate food. National Farm Workers Day falls during National Farmworker Awareness Week (NFAW), which is a week of action for communities to bring attention to the multiple challenges farmworkers face, as well as to shed light on and bring honor to the important contributions farmworkers make.
