National Plum Pudding Day

February 12th, 2022 Surprisingly enough, there are no plums in plum pudding. When plum pudding was first created in the 17th century, the word "plum" was used to describe just about any dried fruit. Plum pudding is composed of nutmeg, raisins, nuts, apples, cinnamon, dates, and many other ingredients. It is commonly made and served during lenten season or around the holidays.
