National Puzzle Day is an unofficial holiday celebrated annually on January 29th. There are puzzle celebrations and events held at museums, libraries and other venues around the country. Crossword, sudoku and word search puzzles remain amongst the most popular. There are puzzles that fit into the needs of every person and every skill level, for the young and the old. There are also jigsaw puzzles, puzzle books and many many more.
Promote National Puzzle Day by creating your own puzzle pages or pull-out supplements utilizing Metro's crossword, sudoku, word search, crypto fun, word scramble and Kids' Corner weekly puzzles. Find these under the Puzzles, Games & Recipes pull-down menu in the MCC Editorial Library.
