This civilian agency was founded in 1941 to provide support worldwide for US service people and their families. The United Service Organizations (USO) centers have served as a home away from home for hundreds of thousands of Americans.
The USO founding anniversary presents yet another opportunity throughout the year to pay homage to service men and women. Encourage communities to reach out and assist current military members and past veterans through volunteer work.
